This class is a beginning literacy opportunity for students who are capable of strong listening, fine-motor and operative writing skills such as writing one complete sentence. Students with strong listening skills will be ready for this class as they participate in small group discussions about books, write a response, and publish their own book based on the subject matter. This fun approach to literature, writing, and art develops a love for learning these subjects. By the end of the semester, students will be able to write a complete paragraph.
Instructor: Mrs. Ekblad
