Since I got one colony of Carniolans yesterday, I will perform a live hiving demo today. Anyone who wants to come observe can bring their beesuit and meet me at my house at 4:30PM today. We will head down the street a couple blocks to one of my hive locations. Anyone is welcome!
I got mine in the hives yesterday. But I am wondering if they will survive so many cold nights. They were still humming this morning.
ReplyDeleteGreat, Jeff!! I think they will be just fine and your queen will start laying a few days sooner. Just don't let their sugar water run out and keep a piece of pollen patty on the top of the frames until we have more local pollens available.
